DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION EVENT SCREENING: ‘INFORMER’

17 Oct 2018, 13:30 - 14:45

Palais des Festivals, Grand Auditorium, Palais 1
Language:
English

Presented by all3media international and Neal Street Productions

Informer is a sophisticated, character driven-thriller about Raza, a young, second generation Pakistani man from East London who is coerced by Gabe, a counterterrorism officer to go undercover and inform for him. Gabe, who has a past he is unwilling to expose, is joined by Holly, his new endlessly curious and ambitious partner.

Informer tells a story about identity – and family - in a world where lines are increasingly being drawn and sides are being taken. This is a flagship BBC1 series this Autumn - highlighting key issues around diversity on the UK mainstream channel. Commissioned from Neal Street Productions by BBC1’s Piers Wenger and Elizabeth Kilgarriff   – who describes the series as “Brilliantly original and constantly surprising, Informer is going to be a must watch treat for the audience” - the show is a co-production with Amazon Prime Video USA.

Neal Street Productions, 6 x 1 hour.
