Charlie Corwin is an entrepreneur, creator, producer, and media executive. He was previously CEO at Imagine Entertainment where he joined shortly after an investment from the Raine Group. Before that he was Co-Chairman and CEO at Endemol Shine Americas, overseeing the merger and integration of those two companies in North and South America. Corwin started his career by Co-founding internet startup Live Music Channel, a pioneer in video streaming, and later he Co-founded movie and television production company Original Media. As CEO of Original Media, Corwin produced numerous acclaimed feature films and created some of the U.S.’s most successful TV series. He is widely considered an innovator for his creation of subculture specific docu-series such as “Miami Ink” and its popular spinoffs, as well as the breakout successes “Swamp People” and “Storm Chasers.” Corwin’s films have been nominated for a total of 14 Spirit Awards, 3 Golden Globes, and 2 Academy Awards. Among them, “The Squid and the Whale,” “Half Nelson,” and “A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints.” He was born and raised in New York City and currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
