Andy is a global media and entertainment executive with a proven track record of leading industry-disrupting content strategies. He has 15+ years of experience in the film and television industry with expertise in content programming, development, acquisition and distribution for Netflix and Disney.

At Netflix, Andy built and led the Kids Content Department, which was responsible for development, production and acquisition of content for kids ages 2-12. Andy oversaw the growth of Netflix's Kids slate from two originals in 2014 to 40+ in 2017, the largest slate of original kids content in the industry, including shows such as Alexa and Katie, Ask the Storybots, Beat Bugs, Chasing Cameron, Free Rein, Julie's Greenroom, Magic School Bus Rides Again, Project MC2 and Trollhunters. He also led Netflix's kids & family programming strategy and acquisitions globally, including acquisitions from 50+ countries. In this capacity he closed licensing or production deals with every major kids content provider, including Disney, Dreamworks, Nickelodeon, Warner Bros, LEGO, Hasbro and Mattel. During Andy's tenure, Netflix was named Kidscreen's top Kids Broadcaster 4 years in a row. Andy joined Netflix in 2011 to help acquire content for its initial international expansion. In this role he negotiated and closed television and film licensing deals with every major US studio and network for the US, Canada and Latin America.

Prior to joining Netflix, Andy worked in digital distribution for The Walt Disney Studios, where he negotiated movie distribution deals with digital platforms such as Hulu, iTunes, Sony Playstation Network and Microsoft Xbox. He also developed the initial business plan for an online direct-to-consumer movie service.
