    The Island With Bear Grylls, Channel 4, UK

    Pitch: Adventure series where Bear Grylls challenges 13 men to survive on a desert island for four weeks. The men are stripped of home comforts and left to survive on the island alone, filming themselves, with only the clothes they stand up in and some basic tools.

    Social media buzz: According to the witspottER analytics, the reality series was among the top 3 most commented premieres of the week in social media in Europe. Over the whole series, the number of Facebook likes was multiplied by 15 and the number of Twitter was multiplied by 18! A season 2 has been commissioned.

    Petals on the Wind, Lifetime, USA

    Pitch: Sequel to the hit TV movie “Flowers In The Attic” aired on lifetime in January 14. A decade after Cathy, Christopher, and Carrie escaped from their grandparents' attic, Petals on the Wind continues to follow the twisted plight of the family as they attempt to put their sordid past behind them, but soon discover certain secrets can't be left behind.

    Social media buzz: According to the witspottER analytics, the TV movie was the most commented premiere of the week in social media worldwide (42,193 tweets). It delivered a generous social volume, almost as generous as its January predecessor “Flowers In The Attic” (48,892 tweets).

    Pitch: Telenovela charting romances between various characters, including the son of the owner of a major company, with one of his employees. He returns to Argentina after his estranged father suffers a heart attack and encounters his former love.

    Social media buzz: According to the witspottER analytics, the telenovela was among the top 3 most commented premieres of the week in social media in worldwide. Over one month, the number of Twitter followers increased by 40%.
