  • How to register your Programme

    Before you register, prepare:

    • a 650 character max. description/synopsis
    • an image/photo
      (2 MB max; 300 dpi min.; .JPEG, .GIF or .PNG; 472 x 472 pixel; RBG)

  • Step by step guide:

    • Once your received the confirmation of your registration for MIPFormats
    • Go to screenings.my‐mip.com
    • Log in using your email address and password (MIPTV database)
    • Submit your text and photo
    • Upload your video (mandatory for programme and optional for project)
    • Preview and approve your video for the market once everything is complete

  • Video upload technical Specifications

    Editorial specifications:

    • All videos should be dubbed or sub‐titled in English, to be understandable by international buyers
    • No advertising, before, during or after the video
    • No blank sections
    • No test patterns or countdowns at the start of the video
    • Image and sound should be correctly synchronised
    • Maximum duration of 90 minutes

    Technical specifications

    • Java must be installed
    • Max file size 8GB per video
    • Accepted formats: .mp[e]g / .vob / .avi / .mov / .mp4
    • Recommended codecs: MJPEG, Apple ProRes, H264 (bitrate if possible); 2MBit/s and uncompressed
    • Resolution: PAL and NTSC (as well as SECAM) from 720x400px up to HD material of 1920x1080px
    • Audio: 48kHz sound PCM (only uncompressed) / MP3 / AAC (if possible > 160 kBit/s)
