Amy Shapiro is Vice President of Acquisitions, Syndication and Broadcast for Vivicast Media. A Memphis-based content licensor and distribution company, Vivicast Media is a recognized global leader in UHD and HDR content. Ms. Shapiro has been with the company since 2009. She began her career at Universal Pictures and, as Vice President of Sales, licensed feature films to major cable networks such as HBO, Showtime and AMC. After spending 15 years with Universal, she went on to consult for MTG/Viasat in Scandinavia, Discovery Japan and many other US-based companies. While at Vivicast, she has been instrumental in licensing 4k and HDR documentaries, feature films and series to companies around the world. Ms. Shapiro has been a speaker at many events around the world and has been invited to talk in countries such as South Korea, France the UK and numerous times in the USA.
